Donnie Gallico is the creator of stage magic effects who desires to be recognized as an actor and performer in his own right. A few days before Gallico's first performance, his manager Ross Ormond orders him to stop performing because he needs Gallico's outstanding buzz saw effect for the act of The Great Rinaldi, a well-established star.
