Bartholomew Bogue, a rapacious entrepreneur, takes possession of the village of Rose Creek in the Old West in order to exploit its gold mines. Emma Cullen and the other desperate residents of the town seek assistance from the bounty hunter Sam Chisolm because their lives are in danger. Chisolm gathers together a motley crew of gunslingers to do battle with Bogue and his merciless goons. When the gunfire starts, the seven mercenaries soon realize that they are battling for more than just money as they approach a potentially lethal confrontation.
