Using cryogenics, Dr. Leon Kravaal has developed a treatment for cancer that could be lifesaving for some patients. After a patient's death, the experiment goes haywire as authorities suspect Kravaal of murder. The officials and Kravaal are all frozen. To help Kravaal finish his recovery years later, they are resurrected and brought back to life. However, human greed and frailty work together to sabotage the plan.
