Arthur Bishop is a seasoned hit guy who considers himself an artist by making his victims' murders appear accidental. It's made him wealthy, but he's so lonely and depressed that he takes on one of his victims' sons, Steve McKenna, as an apprentice. Arthur puts him through a tough training program and exposes him to a variety of hits. Arthur is concerned that as Steven improves, he will learn who murdered his father.
