The Mighty Quinn

Donald Pater, one of the island's wealthiest residents, was brutally murdered, and now Police Chief Xavier Quinn is investigating. When the police arrived, they discovered him dead in his Jacuzzi, with his head cut off. In spite of the local political establishment's insistence that small-time criminal Maubee is to blame, Xavier has his reservations about the credibility of their claims. Because of his personal connection to Maubee, the police chief complicates this view: The two men have known one other since they were young.
