The Notebook

An epic love story in which the protagonist is an older guy who reads to the main character, who has Alzheimer's disease. The words of the elderly man, written in a notebook that has seen better days, bring to life the story of a couple that is torn apart by World War II and is then passionately reunited seven years later after they have taken different paths in life. The story begins with the couple being separated by the war, but they meet again after the war is over.
