The Nutty Professor
Eddie Murphy plays the role of Dr. Sherman Klump, a genetic professor who is reserved, smart, and described as "calorifically challenged." Sherman's desire to capture Carla Purty's affection causes him to become obsessed with losing his 400-pound frame and becoming more attractive so that he can work at the university. Therefore, with just one gulp of his unproven fat-reducing serum, Sherman transforms into "Buddy Love," a quick-witted, pumped-up, and plumper version of Don Juan.
