The Organizer

"Professor Sinigaglia," played by Marcello Mastroianni, is the main character in this darkly comedic Italian film about factory workers in Turin who aren't getting paid enough. People who work at a textile mill don't have anyone to fight for them until Sinigaglia puts his academic career on the line to help them start a strike. Even though the teacher is looked at by people who aren't very sympathetic, he stays true to the workers' cause.
