Sir James Forbes is dispatched to a remote Cornish village in order to ascertain the cause of a mystery sickness plaguing the populace. Local squire Charles, a follower of Haitian witchcraft, is employing voodoo to raise the dead to work in his dilapidated and dangerous tin mines, which are reviled by the local populace. However, his sorcery is based on human sacrifice, and he unleashes his army of the undead on an unsuspecting community, wreaking havoc.
