The Price of Desire

Eileen Gray(1878–1976), an Irish architect and furniture designer, was a pioneer in the modern design movement. This graceful depiction of her later life and work in France centers on the conflicting triangle of Gray (Orla Brady), her lover Badovici (Francesco Scianna), and Le Corbusier (Vincent Perez). Alanis Morrissette also appears as chanteuse Marisa Damia, Gray's other lover, and Dominique Pinon (Delicatessen, Amélie) as artist Fernand Léger.
