The Salt of the Earth

The photographer Sebastio Salgado has traversed the continents for the past four decades, following in the footsteps of an ever-changing humanity. He has observed the most significant events in our recent history, including foreign conflicts, famine, and mass migration... He is currently going on the search of untouched regions, untamed animals and flora, and gigantic landscapes: a monumental photographic project that pays homage to the beauty of the earth. The life and work of Sebastio Salgado are recounted by his son Juliano, who accompanied him on his final excursions, and by Wim Wenders, a fellow photographer.
