The Silent House

After a long drive, Laura and Wilson arrive at a remote cottage in order to fix it up, as the owner (Abel Tripaldi) plans on putting the place up for sale in the near future. Next morning, the repairs might begin once they've slept over. Everything goes according to plan until Laura hears a noise from the outside that gets louder and louder as it travels up the staircase of her home. Wilson walks upstairs to investigate what's going on, leaving her alone in the basement to wait for her father. The story is based on a true story that happened in Uruguay in the 1940s. On the final seventy eight minutes of La casa muda, second by second, Laura attempts to escape from the house and uncovers the house's deadly truth.
