The Sleeping Beauty (The Royal Ballet)
The evil fairy Carabosse rages she had not been invited to Princess Aurora's christening. She offers the child a pin, claiming that day the Princess will certainly prick her finger on it and also pass away. The Lilac Fairy makes her own christening gift a softening of Carabosse's curse: Aurora will certainly not pass away, however will fall into a deep rest, which only a prince's kiss will damage.
