The Woman in Black

The plot follows Arthur Kipps, a young lawyer who is assigned to travel to a remote village and sort through the documents of a recently deceased client. Kipps' anxiety grows when he sees a mysterious woman clad solely in black while working alone at the client's distant house. Kipps is compelled to investigate the true identity of the Woman in Black on his own after receiving only silence from the townspeople, which leads to a desperate race against time when he does.
