Dave Bertman, a 37-year-old single parent, is a tightly coiled individual. Bertman's "advanced" schooling begins when medical marijuana activists brandishing "loaded" firearms disrupt a reunion barbecue with former college debate teammates. Bertman fears the worst when his teenage daughter Gina Marie unexpectedly comes with a marijuana discovered in her pocket. Only after confronting his own hypocrisies will he be able to have the candid and open dialogue necessary for father and daughter to understand one another and reunite.
