Turning Tide
Yann Madec, a long-time friend of Global System Insurance's star captain Frank Drevil, gets his wish when he steps in at the last minute to replace the ailing Frank at the start of the Vendée Globe. Yann is forced to halt in Cape Verde nine days into the race, despite being in the lead. Yann discovers a stowaway on board, a Senegalese teenager named Moussa, and rejoins the race. Yann hesitates as he faces the possibility of being disqualified due to Moussa's presence... Their meeting sparks the most memorable round-the-world race in history.
