Anthony Stoner, an unemployed pot smoker and amateur drummer, abandons his strict parents and takes the road, finally meeting kindred spirit Pedro de Pacas. While the drug-using couple is quickly jailed for marijuana possession, Anthony and Pedro are released on a technicality, allowing them to continue their many mishaps and eventually compete in a rock band contest, where they perform the boisterous song "Earache My Eye."
