Vagabond
Mona Bergeron is dead. Her body was found frozen in a ditch in the countryside of France. From here, the movie jumps back to the weeks before she died. Through these flashbacks, we see how Mona's life gets worse and worse as she moves from place to place, taking odd jobs and sleeping with whoever will let her. Mona is very independent and wants freedom more than she wants comfort, but her desire to be free will eventually kill her.
