Veronika Voss
The German cinema actress Veronika Voss falls into a drug addiction in Munich in1955, and she is forced to rely on the dishonest Dr. Marianne Katz, who supplies her with morphine. Veronika begins to daydream about returning to the spotlight after meeting sports writer Robert Krohn. As the intensity of the couple's connection increases, Veronika begins seriously considering a return to the screen— only to realize how incapacitated she has become as a result of her drug addiction.
