Vineland
Filmed at the last drive-in movie theater in Los Angeles, called the City of Industry, is a short experimental film. Images from Hollywood movies that have been moved and re-framed are shown through car windows and mirrors as the radio broadcast soundtrack moves and clashes with the projections on and around the multiple screens. The images are filled with apocalyptic anxiety. During Vineland, the nocturnal landscape is seen as a border zone that is filled with dreamlike illusions that show how different realities overlap at the point where nostalgia and alienation meet.
