Mari McCabe was orphaned as a child after her parents were murdered by local greed, corruption, and indiscriminate violence. Mari, on the other hand, is unconcerned about the dangers she is in. Mari may use animal powers after inheriting her family's Anansi Totem, which range from the super-strength of a gorilla to the speed of a cheetah. She battles heroically as Vixen to safeguard the world from threats similar to those that claimed her family's lives.
