Eyal, an Israeli Mossad agent, is tasked with tracking down and killing the elderly Alfred Himmelman, a former Nazi officer who may still be alive. He befriends his grandson Axel, who is visiting his sister Pia in Israel and pretends to be a tourist guide. The two men embark on a tour of the country, during which Axel questions Eyal's values.
