Wasted Talent

Wasted Talent is a gritty documentary directed by Steve Stanulis and produced by Noel Ashman. It's about actor Lillo Brancato, who was once considered the new Robert De Niro after acting in A Bronx Tale (De Niro's directorial debut), Renaissance Man, Crimson Tide, and The Sopranos. But Brancato became caught up in the Hollywood underground and became a heroin addict, eventually being arrested for the murder of an NYPD officer. Brancato was acquitted of murder but sentenced to 8.5 years for attempted burglary. In prison, the young actor got clean and sober, and now he's trying to redeem himself in the fickle world of entertainment.
