What Killed Michael Brown?
Shelby Steele, an award-winning author, has long argued that systemic racism is more a strategy than a truth and that the universal oppression of black Americans is essentially over. A white police officer in Ferguson, Missouri shot and killed a black teenager in 2014 and the incident rocked the nation. An other shocking murder occurred while Steele was conducting his work in Ferguson: George Floyd's savage death. Didn't these deaths and the large list of others like them disprove Steele's claims?
