WWE SummerSlam 2022

WWE staged SummerSlam2022, the 35th annual SummerSlam professional wrestling event. It included competitors from the promotion's Raw and SmackDown brands. The event was broadcast on pay-per-view (PPV) globally and was livestreamed on Peacock in the United States and WWE Network abroad. SummerSlam was hosted on July30,2022, in Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee; it was the first SummerSlam not to be held in August. This was the first WWE PPV event following the retirement of WWE owner Vince McMahon, who had served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company since 1982.
