In the aftermath of a nuclear war, a young lady endures on her own, afraid she may be the proverbial last woman on earth, until she comes face to face with the most astonishing sight she has ever seen: another human being. He's a disturbed scientist who's nearly gone insane as a result of radiation exposure and his desperate search for other scientists. They are connected by a frail, but necessary string of trust.
