Zoot Suit is a film adaptation of Luis Valdez's critically acclaimed play, based on the true Sleepy Lagoon murder case and the zoot suit riots of 1940s Los Angeles. There are a group of Mexican-Americans, led by Henry Reyna, who have been condemned to San Quentin without evidence in the death of a guy at Sleepy Lagoon.
