Zoot Suit
Zoot Suit is a film adaptation of Luis Valdez's critically acclaimed play, based on the true Sleepy Lagoon murder case and the zoot suit riots of 1940s Los Angeles. There are a group of Mexican-Americans, led by Henry Reyna, who have been condemned to San Quentin without evidence in the death of a guy at Sleepy Lagoon. As members of the defense committee, Alice Bloomfield and George Shearer are fighting for Henry's and his friends' release against clear miscarriage of justice.
