999: What's Your Emergency?
999: What's Your Emergency? is a British documentary that follows members of the emergency services in Blackpool, Lancashire. The series was filmed in Blackpool over the course of 6 weeks in 2011. It shows how members of the Police, Fire, and Ambulance services work together to fight crime and disorder in Blackpool. Every episode brings up one or more issues, such as the damage caused by drugs and alcohol, the reality of domestic violence, the dysfunctional way some people raise their children, or the plight of those who fall through society's safety net.
