Aída
Ada is a Spanish comedy sitcom based in Madrid and is a spin-off of 7 Vidas. Globomedia produces the show for Telecinco in Spain, and it premiered on January16, 2005. It has just begun its eighth season. Carmen Machi plays Ada Garca, a working single mother with two teenage children who is forced to live with her mother and brother in order to make ends meet. The show has gotten positive feedback from viewers, and it has been the most watched show in Spain since 2007. It's also won a number of prizes, including the Ondas Award for Best Spanish Sitcom. The Polish remake of the series premiered on the TVP2 channel in March 2012.
