Once A Frog and Dick Clark Productions, in collaboration with Universal Network Television and NBC Studios, developed American Dreams, an American television drama series that aired on the NBC television network. Jonathan Prince created the show, which was developed by Josh Goldstein and Prince, who was also an executive producer alongside Dick Clark. On September 29, 2002, it premiered. The majority of the episode takes place in Philadelphia. From March9,2005, till the third season finale, it was shown on Sundays at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time. The sitcom is set in Philadelphia during the mid-1960s and follows the Pryor family. Seasons one and two are set in1963–64,1964–65, and1965–66, respectively. When it first aired in Australia, the show was called as Our Generation, but when it returned for a second season, it was renamed American Dreams. Emerson Hart, the lead singer of the band Tonic, composed and performed the theme song "Generation." Hart won an ASCAP award for Best Television Theme Tune in 2003 for this song. The show won "Future Classic" at the TV Land Awards in 2003.
