American Muscle Car is a weekly television program on Speed created by Restoration Productions LLC about muscle vehicles. Each episode includes a timeline of each vehicle's production history, beginning with its debut year of production and ending with its most current year. Originally, the show was intended to highlight classic muscle automobiles like the Chevrolet Camaro, Ford Mustang, and Dodge Charger. It later incorporated other performance vehicles, such as the Shelby Cobra and the Chevrolet Corvette, and began to specialize in particular eras, such as the Corvette Stingray. It even built a custom for the final 1967 Corvette Stingray to be manufactured. In the 2006 season, the show broadened its focus to include the designers and engineers of muscle cars. In the 2007 season, the exhibition broadened its focus to include antique races and powertrain components.
