Arctic Air
Arctic Air is the story of a daring Yellowknife-based airline and its unorthodox owners. Mel Ivarson, an old-school bush pilot, Krista Ivarson, Mel's daughter, and Bobby Martin, the son of Ivarson's late partner, are the proprietors. The episodes focus on the protagonists' interpersonal difficulties as well as exciting flying missions with their aged fleet of Douglas DC-3s, de Havilland Canada DHC-3 Otters, and other aircraft. Each episode includes at least one flying mission. Due to government budget constraints, the series was discontinued on March 17, 2014.
