Bakumatsu Rock
Ryouma Sakamoto wants everyone to know about his love of rock 'n' roll, so he roams the city with his electric guitar to prove he's as talented as the Shinsengumi stars they revere. Unfortunately, other than the group's Heaven's Songs, writing or playing different genres of music is prohibited in Japan and can result in severe penalties. Ryouma is agitated by the severe regulations and brainwashing and does everything he can to show people that the music he loves will provide them with the freedom they deserve. Ryouma works hard with his bandmates Shinsaku Takasugi and Kogoru Katsura to find venues for his rock 'n' roll band to perform. Refusing to give up until their music is recognized in Japan, the trio discovers that there is more to their devotion than they previously realized.
