Beauty and the Beast

Detective Catherine Chandler is a tough, no-nonsense homicide detective. She witnessed her mother's death at the hands of two gunmen as a teenager and was saved by someone–or something. Years pass, and Catherine discovers a clue that leads her to Vincent Keller, who was allegedly murdered in2002, while investigating a crime. Catherine discovers that Vincent is still alive and that he was the one who saved her many years ago. For unknown reasons that have compelled him to live outside of ordinary society, Vincent has been hidden for the past ten years to protect his secret— when furious, he transforms into a frightening beast, unable to control his super-strength and heightened senses.
