An Emmy nomination for "Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation" helped the series gain a cult following, and it eventually became a franchise. Alien Force, the sequel to Ben10, was released in April2010, and it was immediately followed by Ben10: Ultimate Alien. In September2012, a new Ben 10 series titled Ben10: Omniverse debuted.
