Glitter, scandals, roaring twenties music, and incredible acting abound in this exciting new series about Eugene Bodo, a man of many abilities. Between the wars, the artist was a major figure in Europe. He was an actor, director, producer, businessman, and the subject of countless scandals and rumors. Women flocked to him, and men aspired to be like him. For a group of individuals, the biography of the cabaret and movie star would suffice. The story depicts Bodo's journey to achievement, which was not always "rosy." Viewers will be able to follow the man's difficult life decisions, such as running away from home and taking his first steps on stage in a regional theatre, as well as his relationship with his domineering mother and love affairs with a number of women, including Nora Ney. The 13-part series will transport viewers back to the days of early movie sets and cabaret.
