Cat's Eye

Cat's Eye is a manga series from Japan. Tsukasa Hojo wrote and drew it. It ran in Weekly Shnen Jump from 1981 to 1985, and Shueisha put it together in 18 tankbon. The story is about what happens to the three Kisugi sisters, Hitomi, Rui, and Ai. They are art thieves who are trying to get all of their father's works back. The manga was turned into an anime series that was first shown on NTV from 1983 to 1984. The second season ran from 1984 to 1985. It has also been made into a TV movie in 1988 and a movie that was shown in theaters in 1997. Cat's Eye is one of the best-selling manga series in the history of Weekly Shnen Jump. Over 18 million copies have been sold. The anime has also been shown in Canada, France, Germany, Italy, the Philippines, and China, among other places outside of Japan. In 2007, ImaginAsian TV showed the first season of the first anime. The series was then released on home video for the first time in North America. Right Stuff Inc. said in 2013 that they had bought the rights to the show and would put it out on DVD under the Nozomi label. In the first issue of Coamix's Monthly Comic Zenon, which came out on October 25, 2010, Shingo Asai's manga version of the series, also called Cat's Eye, was published for the first time.
