Clannad
Tomoya Okazaki is a third-year high school student who is dissatisfied with his life. His mother died in a vehicle accident when he was younger, forcing his father to turn to drink and smokes. This leads to battles between the two until Tomoya's shoulder is wounded. Tomoya has had estranged interactions with his father since then, leading him to become a delinquent over time. On his way to school, he encounters a weird girl named Nagisa Furukawa, who is a year older but is repeating because of illness. As a result, she is frequently alone because most of her pals have gone on. The two start hanging out, and as time passes, Tomoya's life begins to change. Anime based on a popular visual novel game.
