It debuted on the Disney Channel on January 12, 2007 and ran through September 13, 2008, during which time it was shown in the United States. Cory Baxter is the main character of the show. She and her family relocated from San Francisco, California to Washington, District of Columbia after her father Victor Baxter was offered a position at the White House as the official head chef. Additionally, this is the first Disney Channel spin-off series that will air in standard definition throughout the entirety of the show.
