Cosmos: Possible Worlds

National Geographic will debut an American science documentary television series on March 9, 2020. The series is a sequel to the 2014 television series Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, which followed Carl Sagan's original Cosmos: A Personal Voyage series, which aired on PBS in 1980. Neil deGrasse Tyson hosts the series, which was written, directed, and executive-produced by Ann Druyan and Brannon Braga, with Seth MacFarlane and Jason Clark also serving as executive producers. The series consists of 13 episodes that were broadcast over the course of seven weeks. The series premiered on Fox on September22, 2020. According to Braga, "Possible Worlds refers to planets far, far away, but also... the future as a possible world."
