Da Ali G Show is the name of two linked satirical television programmes starring and created by English comedian Sacha Baron Cohen and centered on the character Ali G. The first series broadcast on Channel 4 in the United Kingdom, and the second season on HBO in the United States. Ali G in da USAiii in the UK and Australia was the title of the second series. Baron Cohen plays Ali G, Borat Sagdiyev, and Brüno Gehard, three unorthodox journalists. The trio conducts interviews with strangers, interrogating them with outrageous and stupid questions. HBO declared on July 23, 2005 that there would be no further seasons of the show. Ali G Indahouse, Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for the Benefit of the Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, and Brüno are the three films that Baron Cohen has made based on his three characters from the program.
