The story takes place in the late 1980s, when school has let out for the summer, and the counselors at Camp Clearwater, a seemingly idyllic Midwestern summer camp, are about to embark on a season filled with firsts. These firsts include first loves, first kisses, and first murders. The dark, ancient mythology of Clearwater is reawakened, and what was supposed to be a summer filled with joy quickly transforms into an experience filled with terrifying encounters with the dark side at every step.
