Death Note
Light Yagami is a brilliant student who has a bright future ahead of him, but he cannot shake the feeling that his life is completely meaningless. All of that, however, changes when he comes upon the Death Note, a notebook that was abandoned by a rogue Shinigami death god. Any human whose name is recorded in the notebook is guaranteed to die, and Light has promised to utilize the power of the Death Note to rid the world of evil.
