This is the sixth anime children's television series in the Digimon franchise by Akiyoshi Hong and Toei Animation, known in Japan as "Digimon Xros Wars" and in Malaysia as "Digimon Fusion Battles." Taiki Kudo, a young kid who uses the power of Digimon to save the Digital World, is the protagonist of the story. Xros Wars, The Evil Death Generals and the Seven Kingdoms, and The Young Hunters Who Leapt Through Time were all aired on TV Asahi and Asahi Broadcasting Corporation between July 6, 2010 and March 25, 2012. The series has been licensed outside of Asia by Saban Brands, and MarVista Entertainment is in charge of the rest of the world. The CW's Vortexx programming block will screen an English-language version produced by Saban, which began running on Nickelodeon in North America on September 7, 2013. On the 8th of December 2012, Disney XD in Malaysia began airing an alternate English-language version.
