Dirty Jobs
Dirty Jobs is a Discovery Channel programme created by Pilgrim Films & Television in which host Mike Rowe is shown performing arduous, unusual, repulsive, or messy occupational activities alongside regular employees. In November 2003, the show launched with two pilot episodes. It was revived as a television series on July 26, 2005, and ran for eight seasons till September 12, 2012. For the eighth season, the show's setting was refocused in Australia, which was marketed as Dirty Jobs Down Under. There is also a European variant of the show, hosted by Danish former goalie Peter Schmeichel. Mike Rowe announced the cancellation of Dirty Jobs on November21, 2012.
