Kang Soo is a loan shark who is trying to make ends meet in his bleak reality. His mother ran away from home because of his father's cruelty. He began working for Hwang Tae Bok as a result of his father's terrible debt. He couldn't be happy. His main wish is to reunite with his mother and lead a happy life. This is, however, impossible in his life. He can't escape the nightmare of his existence no matter how hard he tries, and just as he was about to give up on life, he spots a leaflet asking, "Do you want to become happy?" With a glimmer of optimism, he visits the research center in the hopes of finding some happiness. He soon discovers, however, that happiness comes at a heavy cost of $300,000. He decides to rob Tae Bok of his money. Is he going to be able to find happiness?
