Fame
Fame is an American TV show that was first shown from 1982 to 1987. The show is based on the same-named movie from 1980. It told the stories of the students and teachers at the New York City High School for the Performing Arts through drama and music. Even though it was made up, it had a lot in common with the real Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music, Art, and Performing Arts in New York. Most of the scenes inside the house were shot in Hollywood, California. In every season but the third, the show shot some scenes outside in New York City. Because of how popular the show was, especially in the UK, the cast made several hit records and went on concert tours. Even though it was popular, not many of the actors went on to have high-profile careers after the show ended. A reunion special called Bring Back...Fame, which aired in the UK in 2008, showed a few of the cast members for a short time.
