Family Law is a television drama featuring Kathleen Quinlan as a divorced lawyer named Lynn Holt. Lynn Holt attempted to start her own law office when her husband abandoned both her and their law practice, taking all of their clients with him when he departed. Quinlan plays the role of Lynn Holt. Paul Haggis was the mind behind the show's conception, which ran on CBS from 1999 until 2002. Julie Warner portrayed Lynn's friend Danni on the episode, and Dixie Carter played a "pit bull" divorce attorney named Randi King. Christopher McDonald played the role of an unscrupulous and ambulance-chasing attorney named Rex Weller.
