Hercules: The Legendary Journeys

Hercules: The Legendary Journeys is a TV show that is filmed in New Zealand and the United States. It was made starting in 1995 and was loosely based on the stories of the ancient Greek hero Heracles. It ran for six seasons and was one of the most popular syndicated TV shows in the world at the time. Action figures and other items were made based on the show. Along with its spin-off, Xena: Warrior Princess, it also got a cult following. As part of Universal Television's Action Pack in1994, there were several TV movies with the same main characters: Hercules and the Amazon Women, Hercules and the Lost Kingdom, Hercules and the Circle of Fire, Hercules in the Underworld, and Hercules in the Maze of the Minotaur, which was mostly a "clip show" of the previous movies to get people ready for the series.
