Kohei Kuryu is a former juvenile delinquent who dropped out of junior high school and later earned a high school equivalency diploma. Kuryu becomes a prosecutor after completing the bar exams. Kuryu is not your normal prosecutor; his quick reflexes and a level of intelligence that only someone reared on the streets could possess. Maiko Amamiya is an astute public prosecutor who is focused on passing the exam to become a deputy prosecutor and does everything she can to catch her boss's attention. Kuryu, on the other hand, is transferred to Amamiya's division after acquiring a reputation for producing excellent work, and finally sees the chance of advancement. Unfortunately, his out-of-the-ordinary job behavior comes to an abrupt halt. Kuryu's intense pursuit of justice steadily begins to transform things around him, despite his image as a bad apple.
